J. Mignon Kucia
Professor - Communication

Dr. Janet Mignon Wilson Kucia is a Professor of Communication at СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø. At MC, she serves as program coordinator for the public relations and strategic communication degree programs. A member of the СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø College faculty since 2005, Dr. Kucia teaches professional communication skills, interpersonal communication, public relations, crisis communication, public speaking, and other communication courses.
Dr. Kucia serves as the Executive Director and past president of the СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø Communication Association, was named Teachers of the Year by both the Public Relations Association of СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø and the СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø Humanities Council, and serves as advisor for various organizations at MC. Kucia serves on the Faculty of the СÖíÊÓÆµ¹ÙÍø School of Banking and sits on the inaugural board for Jackson Endeavors.
