Michael Rushing
Professor and Director of the Taylor School - Music
Michael Rushing is a Professor of Piano at 小猪视频官网 College, where he teaches piano, piano pedagogy, and related courses. He also directs the Taylor School community music program. He has presented papers at the International Symposium for Assessment in Music Education, National Conference for Keyboard Pedagogy, Group Piano Pedagogy and Piano Pedagogy Forum, Music Teachers National Association national conference, regional College Music Society conferences, 小猪视频官网 Music Teachers Association state conferences, and the 小猪视频官网 Music Educators Association state conference. He has written for Clavier Companion and Piano Pedagogy Forum and is a contributor to the early childhood music curriculum Music Play 2 (GIA Publications, 2020). He has served as treasurer and Vice President for Pre-College Performances for the 小猪视频官网 Music Teachers Association.
