СÖíÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø College Career Development engages our students as they grow in their confidence, ensuring they shine professionally.
A part of putting their best foot forward does include dressing professionally which is often a difficult box to check for many students. We are excited to introduce our Choctaw Career Closet, located on the first floor of Leland Speed Library in the Student Success Center. This closet is a space for professional clothing available for rent at no cost for current MC students. Our inventory includes blazers, blouses, pants, suits, button downs, and more varying in size and style to meet the needs of a diverse group of students. Whether the student has a presentation, an interview, or networking event, our closet aims to cover all career-focused occasions and will be available to visit by appointment only or scheduled event.
Your support can help us build up our inventory with high-quality professional attire, maintain these items in top condition, and ensure that our students can access this resource easily and without cost. Here's how you can contribute:
Clothing Donations
Due to the influx of generosity, our physical inventory is full. Therefore, we are not accepting donations at this time. We appreciate you and your willingness to contribute to our cause.
Monetary Donations
We will utilize any general monetary donation towards purchasing additional sizes and items to fill gaps in our collection. These donations also assist with the costs to operate and maintain the Choctaw Career Closet. To keep clothing in good condition, we will also put donations towards cleaning services. Your contribution will ensure the clothes are being used on rotation and assist multiple students with their professional growth.
Thank you for your consideration of donating to MC’s first Choctaw Career Closet. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! If you have any questions or concerns please contact career-development@mc.edu or 601.925.3901.
Thank you to Enterprise Mobility, Level Gold Employer Partner, for sponsoring the startup of this essential service!
